Let’s say I want to start my own blog contest. What do I do?
- Find some good prizes to give away. Don’t give away your old shoes if you can help it!
- Come up with the contest mechanics e.g. the contest period, the entering methods, judging etc.
- Blog about your contest. Tell friends and send the contest to a site like Contest Whiz to publicize it!
- Reply to comments, entries or questions from participants. Write posts to update your readers.
- Finally, announce your winners when the contest ends and give out your prizes. Then give yourself a pat on the back for a successful contest hosting!
