Sports take center stage with the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada. And now, you can be part of this amazing sporting extravaganza by taking part in a special One Winter, Five Dreams Project.
A Gold Blogger will be selected from bloggers who have posted heart-warming messages on the blogs (of any of the 5 featured athletes, or who have supported these athletes through their blogging and/or other social media activities.
This lucky Gold Blogger will be sent to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games to represent the online supporters by blogging about the athletes’ activities and competitive performances. The Gold Blogger will also deliver the online messages from the participators of the site to the athletes (subject to the conditions at the location). Your support will be vital to edging these athletes on to greater heights of excellence during the Games.
The Gold Blogger will enjoy full sponsorship of roundtrip airfare, accommodations during the stay in Vancouver and Olympic Game tickets from Feb. 10th to Feb. 28th 2010. A Laptop PC and digital camera will also be supplied.
So start entering your support messages to the athletes and the details of the PR activities you have conducted on your own blog and other social media for this project and write to them about your motivations to become the Gold Blogger. After reviewing all the entries, the Project Office will select and announce 10 finalists. Details of the Final Selection will be announced separately.
You must be 18 years or over, be eligible to enter Canada and have a valid passport and visa for the period from Feb. 10th to Feb. 28th 2010 to be able to win.

I’m entering Panasonic’s One Winter, Five Dreams gold blogger contest. It’s a fantastic way to cheer on some of the lesser known Olympic hopefuls as they struggle to make their dreams come true. Please log on to http://5dreams.panasonic.net/ and post words of support and encouragement to each of the five athletes!
All the best, Ski like a girl!
